Perry Mull was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1958. He began his law enforcement career with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office in 2003 as a Detention Officer and worked his way through the ranks to his current position as the C-Shift Watch Commander in the Lubbock County Detention Center.  In 2007, he attended the South Plains Association of Governments Peace Officer Academy, where he received his Basic Peace Officer License.  He has served on the Detention Response Team and the Honor Guard. He is a member of the Texas Jail Association and the American Jail Association.  He graduated from the National Jail Leadership Command Academy in 2010.
